The Vote is a fundamental democratic right. And every election year, registering and voting becomes a moral responsibility—out of respect for the sacrifices of our Elders.

In October’s Round Table, we will “Speak Out to the Candidates,” asking “who should speak for the residents of Greater Roxbury—and why?”

D7 has invited candidates running for City Council seats in districts 7 and 4 to answer our questions about their beliefs, vision, and priorities.

Round Tables participants will develop specific questions to the candidates. Have your issues heard, and find out what the candidate’s think.

Come early, bring your family, friends, and neighbors. An informed community is a powerful community. All are welcome!

Please join us for this exciting October Round Table forum.

This Candidate Forum is co-sponsored by: American Friends Service Committee, the Boston Workers Alliance, City Life / Vida Urbana, Dorchester People for Peace, Jericho-Boston, and the school reform group Work4Quality/Fight4Equity.

*lunch will be served
